Importance of a high refresh rate
A high refresh rate display can make a big difference in the visual quality of games and videos. It reduces motion blur and makes fast-moving action appear smoother. It’s also beneficial for tasks that involve scrolling and other forms of motion. For example, a display with a 60Hz refresh rate updates the image on the screen 60 times per second, while a display with a 120Hz refresh rate updates the image 120 times per second.
